James W. YORK - Known by all who knew him and loved him as "Red" he was born October 4, 1935 in Dallas, TX. He graduated from Eustace High School, graduated college, retired patrolman with Dallas Police Dept, retired Texas Ironworker. Red served two terms as Mayor of Eustace, TX along with two terms as Chief of Police, finally retiring as a Bailiff of Henderson County 392nd Court of Law.

Longtime member of the Baptist Church, as well as song leader, he was a man who loved to sing, and had a beautiful voice. He loved his Lord and was ready to meet him.

Proud charter member of Blue Knights, TX XXVIII from 2004 until his graduation into Heaven I on 5 Apr, 2010. He leaves behind his loving wife Terry, two daughters, one son, one stepdaughter, three stepsons, 14 grandchildren, many friends and Blue Knight brothers and sisters.
